Engine & Transmission install...

Here we go...

Picked up a replacement oil filter and spark plugs

Picked up the flushed & repaired radiator

Picked up the original headers (sand blasted & coated by Sanderson)

New AC Delco battery

A bit of unforseen issues, but we got the new/refinished/restored wiper motor installed

Got it all hooked up and the new wiring harness installed

Battery installed

Motor going back in...

Transmission & linkages all hooked up

Addressing a few power steering pump mount issues

Starter & new plugs installed

Headers going on...

Alternator bracket & fuel lines getting hooked up

With the motor back in, we hooked up the front steering components, idler arm and Borgeson steering box

Took the original radiator in to get boiled & repaired

Got the flywheel resurfaced

Pilot bearing wouldn't come out w/our standard puller

Moved up to our big boy puller! Still stuck!

Went & bought a loaf of bread.

Came right out.

Flywheel installed...

Get ready to mate the transmission

Test fitting the overflow tank

Before installing the engine, we tested the headlight bucket motors. Now is the time to make sure the motors are functional. All good!
